Here is my speech in the elevator pitch:
I am creating a playground that allows autistic children to interact and play in a safe environment. I found in my studies, that kids are afraid of what is different from them, so through my playground, I will raise awareness of children who have autism. The playground will consist of many single player and multi-player games with lots of repetition, color and textures. I hope to also incorporate technology for the 21st-century playground, keeping them active and engaged at once. I will market my playground to organizations who have the same passion as I and the local legislature. I hope that you can be a part of my journey.
I can not answer the next two questions because I did not complete the previous elevator pitch.

Hey Emma, I thought your pitch was really smooth and you were able to describe the playground in a way that allowed one to get a good image in their head of what you were trying to have come across. I also thought the length of the pitch was good because it kept my attention and did not go so long to the point that I stopped listening and tuned out. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi Emma! Awesome pitch! I love the idea behind it, and I think it would be so beneficial for those kids out there! It would raise so much awareness, and I can't imagine how happy it would make them! It kind of reminds me of the playgrounds for kids who are in wheelchairs. So many playgrounds out there are inaccessible for kids like them. Or, if they are, there's not much that they can participate in. It's great to see that people are starting to realize that, and I feel like this is the next step!
